My job

Normally, I work in the department for Waste-to-Energy in Denmark, but right now I’m spending two years’ time in the UK as an expat. A lot of things had to fall into place for this to happen: I had to find the perfect project, preferably in an English-speaking country, and then I had to sort out all the practical stuff with housing, taxes and so on. Fortunately, I had a lot of help from our department for Global Mobility, who helped with all the practicalities.

A dream come true

I’ve always dreamed of working abroad. For me, working abroad is an amazing opportunity to gain insight into a new country, a new culture and new ways of doing things. It helps me gain fresh perspectives.
