Anamaria Gatej, Senior Bridge Engineer

I work as a Senior Bridge Engineer in our Transport Division in Copenhagen. Right now, I’m working on the design of new light rail tracks including a station accessways in Buddinge. The new tracks are placed below the operating railway bridge and in an area with many existing utilities and road traffic. I’m discipline lead on the Structural Design and I work with several structural and geotechnical engineers for this part of the design. But I’m also responsible for managing the interfaces with the other disciplines. It is an extremely complex site and a highly interdisciplinary project, thus the learning curve is steep.
