Martin Christensen, Senior Project Director

I work as a Senior Project Director in our Water Division in Copenhagen. My primary tasks are managing tenders and client relationships once we win a project. I’m also responsible for assembling the right team with the right expertise across disciplines for a project. Mainly, I work on big infrastructure projects for climate adaption strategies in large cities and tunnels, such as protecting and mitigating flood damage for Copenhagen’s metro system.

Always have a sparring partner

In my everyday work life, I prioritise providing and receiving sparring sessions (valuable feedback loops with alternative perspectives and questions to strengthen ideas). With less experienced colleagues, I provide sparring on project management: how do we reach objectives, how do we solve the task within the given timeframe, budget, and quality. From time to time, I also need help – and in Ramboll, you can always find a deeply specialised expert ready to answer your question. I really value that.
