Queensferry Crossing (c) Transport Scotland
For those not familiar with the Queensferry Crossing it traverses some 2.7km across the Firth of Forth in Scotland. It sits within a magnificent bridge-scape that records three centuries of bridge engineering, the illustrious Forth Bridge, opened in 1890, and the Forth Road Bridge opened in 1964 and the new crossing, to be known as the Queensferry Crossing, which will be open to traffic in 2017.
Quite simply we regard the Queensferry Crossing as one of the most striking architectural icons of the twenty-first century and we are honoured to work on such a project.
